Hello YVCS Families! Spirit Week is coming April 29 – May 3rd. Make sure to dress up each day!
Dear YVCS families,
Well, the time has finally arrived. Summer is upon us and I know that many of you are looking forward to spending some quality time with your children. However, before we all scatter, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for another successful year. God continues to bless us in so many ways. Our enrollment is over 100 as we start the summer.
Thanks to all of our volunteers, many of whom spend countless hours on the campus doing a variety of tasks. Cooking dough letters, driving on field trips, helping me at lunch time with supervision, doing art projects or science experiments, chairing the auction, working on the Jog-a-thon, conducting Bible studies, etc, etc…. The list is endless. Any great school is the sum of ALL our parts working effectively together to achieve a common goal. There were many instances this year when I left the campus very thankful for how hard working and resourceful our volunteers were.
So please know that as the principal of the school, I am confident that great things are in store for us. You have made a critically important decision to enroll your child here and our promise is that we will nurture and educate your child to the best of our ability.
Our first day back is MONDAY, AUGUST 27, 8:30 A.M. In the meantime, find a good book, enjoy some time together, eat some ice cream, laugh often, and know that God honors the faithful!
