Bob Johnson

Principal/Administrator

B.A. History-UC Davis
Master’s Degree (MS) in Educational Leadership-CSU East Bay.

Mr. Johnson worked for 36 Years in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District until he retired in June 2007. He spent 7 of those years as a teacher at Mount Diablo High School and 17 at Northgate High School. He spent 2 of those years as an administrator at Clayton Valley High School and the last 10 as the principal of Foothill Middle School in Walnut Creek. While at Foothill, the school was awarded the California Distinguished School Award in 2003 and the National Blue Ribbon School Award in 2004 (one of the top 1% of the middle schools in the United States). Mr. Johnson was actively involved in the Young Life ministry to high school students for almost 50 years.

He and his wife Rae have three children: Peter, Andy, and Rachel and three grandchildren, Travis, Addyson, and Mackenzie. They live in Clayton, about 10 minutes from the school, and currently attend Clayton Community Church. The Johnson’s enjoy gardening, travel, and caring for their grandson Travis.

Jog-A-Thon

Moms-in-Prayer

Thursday, May 3rd is the National Day of Prayer.  This is a great opportunity to come join us as we pray for our nation and our school from 2-3pm in the Fireside Room.  There will also be a special chapel prayer service the same morning, May 3rd, with student led prayer.
