Biography
It is an honor and blessing to teach 4th grade this year at YVCS. I have a passion for reading and writing and earned my BA in Journalism from CSU Long Beach. Knowing that I wanted to transition into the classroom, I went back to school and earned a Masters in Education and a single subject Teaching Credential. I taught English and reading intervention for three years in Los Angeles before becoming a stay-at-home mom. My husband and I have been married for 15 years and moved all over California. We have lived in the Bay Area for the past six years. My three kids will all attend YVCS this year, making it a family affair! My family has attended Oak Park Christian Center in Pleasant Hill for the past five years and I serve in various ministries there. I love to read, bake, garden, and exercise. I am excited for this year and what the Lord has in store for our school.
